About The Owners

John Meche started off as an Information Broker while attending law school. He and some friends started a court searching business to service the title industry. The company soon expanded to serve the courts in all 58 counties in California. This services led to more public information serches and evolved into what today is Information Brokers of America.

John graduated from Western States University College of Law where he received a Juris Doctorate Degree. He is President and CEO of IBOA.

Marc Sexton first became involved in information management while puttinghimself through law school as a private investigator. Subsequent business interests involving public and private records collection and management have contributed to his unique skill set. An expert witness in real estate litigation, Marc has worked with the District Attorney's Real Estate Fruad Division.

Marc is a graduate of the University of Houston and has been a San Diego resident since 1982. He now serves as Executive Vice President and COO of IBOA.
